About Me

A Licensed Professional Here to Guide You

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study psychology. As a licensed psychologist in the Houston  area, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs. Within my practice, I treat adolescents (ages 12 and up) and adults.

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Houston and trained at Vanderbilt University Medical Center-Veteran Affairs Consortium and Baylor College of Medicine. I am also a Texas Credentialed Mediator through University of Houston Law Center.

I am a member of several organizations on the local and national level. I served as the Past - President (2016-2018) of American Psychological Association (APA) Division 35: Section 1 (Psychology of Black Women) and have been appointed Co-Chair of the Division 35 Intersections Taskforce. I have a laudable publication record, including co-authorship in The Journal of Rural Health, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Military Medicine. Additionally, I have presented at national conferences and facilitated educational trainings at the APA, Society of Behavioral Medicine and Texas Psychological Association. I am a reviewer of proposals for the APA convention, National Multicultural Conference & Summit, and Society of Behavioral Medicine. I have also participated as an ad hoc reviewer for Psychology of Women Quarterly and Women and Therapy journals.

Dr. Huddleston has been the recipient of the Dreamers, Believers, & Achievers Award (2022), Top 30 Influential Women in Houston (2022), and as one of the Top 50 Black Entrepreneurs and Professionals in Texas (2023)
